She's growing up so fast it's hard to get a handle on it. Seems like every day she has a new word or two and she does something funny every day! Today she was feeding her baby doll at the little Mexican restaurant that we like to walk to from our house. She was not interested in eating. There were pumpkins outside the grocery store right next door. T had a riot of a time running around the piles of pumpkins and beating them like drums. I think she love the ones she could pick up best; she went back to them a few times.
Tonight for dinner we had leftover chili, which oddly enough she LOVED! She loved it so much it was all over her. Bath time was mandatory tonight. Usually when she gets to take a bath it takes me forever to get her out but tonight she asked to get out. I think it had something to do with me playing with the shower curtain just to see what her reaction would be; not a fan as it turns out. Our little miss loves to be the only one/thing making the big noises, otherwise she gets sad.
For documentation's sake here are the words she's said so far:
Momma, Daddy, blanket, no, night night, bath, water, brush, wash, shoes, socks, slide, blocks, apple, lion, moo, dog, nummy, please, thank you, more, cracker, go, walk, ball, fish, bowl, pancake, up, out.
(she knows monkey sounds, dog sounds, & elephant sounds... she also imitates our cadence when we count for her.)
As it is football season we'll be working on ducks, cougars, touchdown... and things like this.
